KAKA FOCUSSED ON VALENCIA
April 23, 2012
Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has said that the only focus of the club should be the league match against Valencia during the weekend following which they will be taking on Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final. Real Madrid qualified for the semifinals of the European competition after beating Cyprus side APOEL 8-2 on aggregate.
They will be facing Bayern Munich and the away match will be played first. A chance to play in the Champions League final after a gap of 10 years reckons for Real Madrid, but Kaka says that the league match against Valencia should be the first focus.
This is because Barcelona have caught up with them in the league. Previously, Real Madrid had an unassailable 10 point advantage at the top of the table, which has now been reduced to just six points. As they will be travelling to the Camp Nou to face a game against Barcelona in a matter of a few weeks, Kaka has said that Real Madrid should maintain their advantage at the top of the table by focusing on winning the match in hand against Valencia. Real Madrid’s lead at the top of the table might be reduced to just three points if results go against them this weekend.

KAKA:NO MORE DROPPED POINTS
March 28, 2012
Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has said that the club should be extremely vigilant of dropping any more points in the league before their victory in clinching the title is confirmed. Real Madrid are chasing their first league title since their last victory in 2007-08 season. Only a few weeks ago, they were a massive 10 points ahead of rivals Barcelona. This led many to believe that Real Madrid had almost clinch the title.
However, the recent draw with Malaga has now meant that Barcelona have been able to reduce the deficit to 8 points. Iker Casillas‘s saves in the match against Malaga saved them a point. They recently brought down the deficit to 5 points after their win in the league, although Real Madrid have a game in hand against Villarreal.
Real Madrid will be hoping to re-establish their eight-point lead at the top of the table when they take on Villarreal during the midweek action. Speaking ahead of the match, Kaka said that it was extremely crucial that Real Madrid maintained their confidence and concentration going into the matches. Barcelona manager Guardiola recently said that it was Real Madrid’s title to lose this season. The mind game started showing its effect immediately after Real Madrid managed to drop two points against Malaga after a late equaliser from the latter.
“We have an advantage [over Barca] which means a lot and does not mean that much at the same time. We know that Barca are very strong and that they have great players, so we will have to be very alert until we have mathematically won the title. I am improving and trying to be at a good level again. Madrid are a new step in my career, I want to make history here and win a lot of things,” Kaka said in a recent interview given to Spanish paper AS.

KAKA SET TO LEAVE REAL
February 23, 2012
Brazilian star Kaka is all set to exit Real Madrid in the summer. His initial destination was expected to be Arsenal, but it seems that the Brazilian superstar has decided to join Chelsea instead. Kaka arrived at Real Madrid for around £ 56 million in the seasons ago from AC Milan. However, his career at Real Madrid has been beset by a number of injury problems, which has not helped him to become the first team regular. As a result, it is thought that Kaka would be interested in making a permanent move in the summer in order to secure first-team football before finishing his career back in Brazil.
One of the major problems suffered by Kaka after signing for Real Madrid was the knee. Even after recovering from all the knee problems suffered in the last few seasons, Kaka has not been a first choice regular in the mind of Real Madrid manager José Mourinho. Kaka was left out of the first team in the match against CSKA Moscow in the last 16 of the Champions League, which only compounded the rumours of an impending exit in the summer. Arsenal were reported to be one of the favourite destinations for Kaka until now, but Chelsea have emerged as the latest favourites for his signature.
It is thought that Real Madrid would demand at least around £ 30 million for the player, for whom they paid £ 56 million a few seasons ago. It would be interesting to see if Chelsea would be prepared to pay that kind of money for a 29-year-old player, who has a number of injury problems of late. However, the fact that Chelsea are clearly missing a playmaker who can create chances mean that it is more likely that Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas will convince Roman Abramovich to splash the cash.
KAKA WANTS MADRID STAY
January 13, 2012
Real Madrid’s Brazilian playmaker Kaka has said that he will not be looking for a move away from the Spanish club in the January transfer window. Immediately after the opening of this transfer window, speculation has been rife that Kaka will be moving away from Spain.
Kaka cost around £ 64 million for Real Madrid, but he has been largely disappointing. The injuries suffered to his knee and pelvis has certainly taken the explosive acceleration out of his game. Kaka has largely reliant upon these skills for getting away from defenders and scoring the goals, which led to him becoming the world player of the year in 2007.
It is thought that Real Madrid are willing to accept around £ 30 million for the playmaker in their efforts to reduce the wage bill at the club. Kaka is believed to earn around € 10 million per year and getting him of the wage bill will have proved to be very significant for the new signings in this transfer window. Kaka has been linked with a move to France where his mentor Carlo Ancelotti has taken over at PSG. However, Kaka has said that he is someone who does not believe in the idea of winter transfers and that he is not looking for a transfer away from Real Madrid.
“Kaka is also satisfied at Real. He feels much better, is back in the Brazil team and doesn’t want to leave. A winter departure is almost impossible. He doesn’t believe in winter departures. The sums involved are very big and a transfer is something that has to be sorted out calmly, not in a rush,” Kaka’s spokesman Diogo told L’Equipe. Kaka has recently returned from the long-term injury, which has kept him out of the side until now.

Kaka Nearing Fitness
November 23, 2011
After making his £ 62 million move from AC Milan, Kaka has been a shadow of his former self – so much so that many people have said that his career is all but over. A number of knee injuries have limited the former World Player of the Year to just a few appearances, and to make matters worse Kaka has failed to deliver in those limited appearances. However, it seems that the tide is finally turning for the Brazilian, who appears to be coming close to some kind of meaningful fitness.
Just when it looked like it was all staring to go Kaka’s way however, Real Madrid coach José Mourinho has confirmed that Kaka will be missing the Champions League group stage match against Dinamo Zagreb. Even though Real Madrid are in a very comfortable position in the group, Mourinho still wants to win the match against the Ukrainians. The availability of Kaka would have been a major plus point for Real Madrid.
Still, it is not like that Real Madrid are not devoid of stars. The presence of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema should be more than enough to handle the Ukrainians. Along with Kaka, José Mourinho will be without the likes of Ricardo Carvalho, Alvaro Arbeloa, and Angel di Maria. Though for some clubs having such a substantial injury list would make winning matches almost impossible, Real Madrid have the squad strength to deal with it.
Speaking about the Kaka situation, José Mourinho said “Kaka has a bit of a niggling little problem, but has started to overcome the injury. We’re not looking to rush himback though, unless he is 100%.” It remains to be seen if Kaka will be returning for the up-coming league matches instead, but we hope so.
Real Madrid have a three-point advantage over Barcelona in the League table. The return of Kaka would be a major boost towards reclaiming the title after three years.

Kaka
October 15, 2011
Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, better known as Kaka, is the most popular player in the field of football. He is nonetheless one of the most important players in the Brazilian national team. Born on 22nd April, 1982 he is one of the youngest players who have shot up to fame in such a short span of time. Kaka was born in a rich well to do family and was equally focused on studies and football in his early days. However as he grew up his inclination towards football kept increasing and he was soon seen playing for the Sao Paulo’s youth team.
Kaka’s career started escalating and he was soon seen playing for the senior squad and was a promising player for the squad. However his career came to a standstill after a tragic accident where he slipped in to the swimming pool and fractured his back. Even the doctors had confirmed after this that he might eventually become a paralytic. However as one would say, a miracle struck at the right moment, and he managed to recover without much damage and was seen on the pitch playing the next season. Kaka is a religious person and donates one tenth of his yearly salary to the Brazilian Church as a thanksgiving for his miraculous healing.
The scouts of AC Milan were impressed by this upcoming star and his game play and they never thought twice when they signed him for a whooping 8.6 million dollars. Silvio Berlusconi, the owner of AC Milan was heard saying that this amount was a meager one as compared to the fame and earnings brought by Kaka to the club. When Kaka joined he was kept as a substitute to Andrea Pirlo, however the coach soon found that both of them together would make an amazing pair of attacking mid fielders. This decision was not one that went to vain, but instead bought pride to Milan. They went on to win the Italian League in 2004 and Kaka himself scored 10 goals in the 30 appearances he had made. The next year they had a wonderful game at the Champion’s League and even though they lost the finals to Liverpool their confidence was never let down.
Over the years Kaka had become more aggressive in his game play and the coach decided to switch him to the offensive position. This decision again paid off in the coming year of 2006-2007 as Kaka scored 7 goals in the Champions League making him the highest scorer in the tournament. This time again, they met Liverpool in the finals and they got back their revenge of the 2004-2005 season. AC Milan won with a 2-1 margin. Kaka had a hand in both of these goals as the first as from a free kick taken by him and the second was assisted by him. Kaka has definitely improved his game during the years and with his excellent performance and skills, nothing can stop him from becoming a superstar.
